Coming — Album

A rally cry born from Haitian fotbal. One song, many versions: the stadium, the street, the night after. Made for a team that reached the World Cup without playing one match at home, its stadium in gang hands, its home games 500 miles away in Curaçao, and still won 4–1 in Santo Domingo.

Island griot, past and present.

MACHADO is an outlaw griot out of Queens, New York. Haitian roots and Cuban blood. An island griot, past and present.

Kompa bounce underneath, soca and rara drums on top, afrobeats in the big rooms. Afro-Caribbean rap carries the story, and Haitian Kreyòl surfaces where the story calls for it.

Caribbean Outlaw is not a map of one island. It's an itinerary: the islands, the mainland, the mountains, the city streets, a harbor at night. An outlaw travels. A griot remembers.
